Who Can Join

Membership in the UCWLC is open to all women who are members of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Whether you've been part of St. Mary's for your whole life or you've recently joined the parish, we welcome you warmly.

Spiritual Growth Opportunities to grow in your faith through prayer, reflection, and participation in the liturgical life of the parish.

Cultural Connection Stay connected to your Ukrainian roots. From traditional arts and cooking to language and music, we celebrate and preserve the culture our families brought to Canada.

Leadership & Skills Whether it's organizing an event, managing a project, or representing our branch at an eparchial or national level — membership is a chance to develop your gifts and take on new challenges.

Nasha Doroha Magazine Every member receives a subscription to Nasha Doroha, the UCWLC's bilingual quarterly magazine featuring stories, articles, and news from branches across Canada.

A National Network You're not just joining a local group — you're becoming part of an organization of approximately 5,000 women across Canada, connected through eparchial and national structures, conventions, and shared purpose.

What to Expect

We meet once a month from September to June at location — e.g., St. Mary's Parish Hall. Meetings typically include a prayer, a brief business portion, a guest speaker or cultural activity, and fellowship over coffee.

Throughout the year, members are invited to help organize and participate in branch events, charitable projects, and parish activities. There's no pressure to do everything — we appreciate whatever time and energy you can offer.

The annual membership fee is $30.
